Working as project engineer on project Constrction of irrigation colony and small dams in south Punjab

Preparation of cost estimates of civil works and getting approvals from client.
To carry out quantitative analysis as per design and drawings.
Preparation of tender documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQ’s), request for quotations (RFQ’s), prequalification of vendors/contractors, preparation of comparison statements and final selection of contractors.
Preparation of project progress reports, design reports and drawings of projects as per design.
Prioritizes and coordinates project activities with respect to requirements.
Support in cost control, document control and quality control activities.
Track project status regularly and ensure to execute projects within timelines.
Reviews design documents and give input for construction planning and preparation of implementation schedules.
Liaison with subcontractors particularly civil contractors, for timely completion of project in accordance with required specifications.
Actively communicates with all stakeholders including other team project teams and responsible for resolution of project related issues.
Supports the project manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing, and escalating risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities
To assist team leader in matters related to procurement of contractors and vendors.

Workied as a Junior Engineer on Construction of irrigation Colony and rehabilitation of Barrage works.
Responsibilities included:
·         Supervision of site construction procedures and all activities performed by the contractor for construction.
·         Construction supervision of buildings, roads and sewerage of irrigation colony and complete the works of Civil and architectural etc.
·         Construction supervision of 7000 ft long sewerage system including laying of RCC sewer pipes and construpction of RCC manhole.
·         Preparation of Engineer’s estimate, BOQ and project documents.
·         Coordinate with client, sub-consultants, subcontractors and concerned authorities.   
·         Execution of activities as per design and specifications along with compliance with the health and safety department.
·         To verify the required quantities of material required for the execution of project (e.g., concrete, reinforcement steel, concrete blocks, tiles etc.
·         Making sure that the work being done is in compliance with the design and specification by physical presence on site.
·         Preparation of project documents, drawings, method statements and bar bending schedule of structures.
·         Preparation of progress reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
·         Drafting of contract documents and evaluation of BOQ’s with drawings.
·         Reporting to Resident Engineer about site matters and progress.
·         Analysis, Testing and source approvals of construction materials used at site.
·         Checking/vetting of monthly IPC/Bills submitted by contractor.
·         Supervised construction of SDO House, XEN House, Technician house, Consultant’s residence and staff quarters.
·         Construction of Irrigation & Consultant offices and Rest Houses.
·         Construction of Control buildings, regulation cabins, police check posts, irrigation control rooms and toll plaza buildings of Trimmu Barrage.
·         Construction of filtration plant room, parking shed area, market area and boundary wall of irrigation colony.
·         Construction of Telecommunication tower in irrigation colony.
·         Supervised construction of Road Network of Barrage, irrigation colony roads, bridges & village roads and repairing of old roads.
·         Preparation of monthly and annual QA/QC reports.
·         Preparation and approvals of shop drawings and As-Built Drawings in accordance with construction drawings.

Worked as a Site Engineer at Kasur Depalpur Road (KDR) Project.
 Supervision of different project activities at site like Laying of Asphalt and TST, Construction of Jersey Barriers, Construction of Drains, Laying of Kerb stones etc.
